GRETCH'N: Dancing to the Beat of Her Own Drum with "A mi manera"

From the vibrant streets of Cuba to the lively scene of Miami, and now calling Canada her home, GRETCH'N's journey has been a beautiful blend of art in all its branches and forms. Her beginnings were as a background dancer in Cuba, performing at prestigious hotels like the Hotel National (Parisien) and Hotel Cohiba (Havana Cafe). These experiences set the stage for her artistic career, which has evolved over the years, taking her across borders and into new realms of creativity.

GRETCH'N's artistic development truly blossomed in Miami, where she had the incredible opportunity to be a background dancer for television shows on Telemundo and Univision, including appearances on America TV and Despierta America. Dancing in music videos for renowned artists like Alejandro Sanz and Jesse & Joy was a thrilling experience, but it was performing as a background dancer for Marc Anthony and Gente de Zona at the 2015 Latin Billboards that marked a pivotal moment in her career. It was then that she knew she was ready to take the next step: mixing her two passions—dancing and singing.

Today, GRETCH'N sings and dances to love, heartbreak, and life itself. In Canada, she achieved a significant milestone by being named Best Upcoming Artist of the Year at the Canada Latin Awards in 2017. This honor was a testament to the dedication and passion she pours into her craft.

Her music is a reflection of her Cuban heritage and the diverse influences she has encountered along the way, aiming to connect with a bilingual audience spanning the United States, Canada, and Latin American countries. With over 100K streams on Spotify, her presence on social media has grown organically, allowing her to bridge cultures and bring people together through the universal language of music.

When Cuba meets the Dominican Republic, a fabric of culture and flavor unfolds. This project, "A mi manera," is where GRETCH'N first ventured into a fusion of merengue and bachata, celebrating the great genres of the Dominican land and the vibrant, passionate music of Cuba. She wanted to recreate the energy of the streets, the warmth of the people, and the shared love for music that these two nations embody. This project isn't just about music; it's about the joy that characterizes all Latinos.

Stay tuned, and let's continue to celebrate life, love, and music together with GRETCH'N.

Deeptrak & Mark Dedross Release 'The Truth' Featuring Mary Lova: A Fusion of Familiarity and Freshness

In the ever-evolving world of house music, Deeptrak stands out for their unique blend of nostalgic elements and contemporary sounds. This production duo, whose paths have crisscrossed for over two decades, officially joined forces eight years ago. Since then, their philosophy has been clear: create feel-good house music that bridges the past and present, crafting tracks that resonate timelessly.

Their latest release, "The Truth," epitomizes this approach. A collaboration with Mark Dedross and featuring the soulful vocals of Berlin-based Greek singer Mary Lova, this track seamlessly fuses familiar hooks with fresh, new lyrics penned by Grant. Mary Lova's passionate delivery is the centerpiece of the original mix, her lush vocals perfectly complemented by soaring piano chords, string melodies, and classic live bass lines.

Deeptrak's dedication to merging the familiar with the new is evident in "The Truth." The track features a hook that harks back to yesteryear, recreated with a modern twist that ensures it feels both nostalgic and current. This careful balance is what sets Deeptrak apart in the house music scene, allowing them to create tracks that are both innovative and timeless.

Adding another layer to the release, Bobbin’ Head label boss Husky offers an alternative perspective with his remix. By presenting the vocals in a different light, Husky's remix provides a fresh take on the original, ensuring that "The Truth" caters to a diverse range of house music enthusiasts.

As Deeptrak continues to produce music that captures the essence of house, "The Truth" stands as a testament to their ability to blend the old with the new, creating tracks that feel both timeless and fresh. For fans of house music, this release is a reminder of why Deeptrak remains a force to be reckoned with in the genre.

On May 24, CAVN released her second single, "Timed Out." This track delves deep into the emotional struggles of heartbreak, trust, and the pain of feeling abandoned. Rogues of Chaos Unleash Their High-Octane Single: "Crazy for You"

Rogues of Chaos are here to shake up the music scene with their electrifying new single, "Crazy for You." This track is a masterclass in raw yet refined sound, seamlessly blending hard rock, power pop, and metal into an irresistible package. From the opening, machine-gun drum roll to the infectiously catchy hook, "Crazy for You" is poised to captivate listeners and leave them wanting more.

The Rogues of Chaos are a super band led by the legendary lead guitarist Julian "Jerry" Flack. A founding member of the pioneering 70s punk band, the Cardiac Kidz, Jerry Flack is answering the cries of a new generation ready to change the world. The band features Caylyn Gamboa on lead vocals, Cristina Smith on keyboards, Marty Erickson on harmonica and percussion, Lisa Tansey on bass, David Rinck on rhythm guitar, and Doug Newbery on drums. The great Matt Starr, formerly of Ace Frehley, Mr. Big, and Kix, plays drums on the recordings and serves as the producer.

Who knew that when Jerry Flack and Cristina Smith met in first grade at Jefferson Elementary School in San Diego, it would inspire the creation of Rogues of Chaos? The two reconnected in high school, rekindling their friendship and later confessing they had crushes on each other. After high school, Flack went on to make his mark with the Cardiac Kidz, while Smith ventured into rock and roll radio at the iconic San Diego KGB radio station and the weekly nationally syndicated Brainstorm! with Gabriel Wisdom show.

They reconnected in 2021 when Flack was working on a Cardiac Kidz reunion show. After that gig, Flack invited Smith, a classically trained keyboardist, to brainstorm and jam to create a new band featuring Flack’s original material. Vocalist Caylyn Gamboa, whose rock style blends seamlessly with Flack's high-energy music, joined the lineup, bringing her distinctive voice and emotional range. The band was further enriched with the addition of Marty Erickson, Lisa Tansey, and David Rinck, culminating in the powerful ensemble that is Rogues of Chaos.

"Crazy for You" was recorded at the iconic Singing Serpent Studios in San Diego with Ben Moore as the recording and sound engineer. The track was expertly produced and mastered by Matt Starr, along with producers Jerry Flack and Cristina Smith. The song opens with a machine-gun drum roll that sets the stage for an uptempo power pop groove. Caylyn Gamboa's high-octane vocals deliver a love song with an infectiously catchy, radio-ready hook, while Jerry Flack and the band rock out with power-chord abandon.

"Crazy for You" isn't just a song; it's a statement. As Jerry Flack puts it, "Rogues of Chaos bring the exciting raw power of in-your-face music songs of freedom, fun, and passion to the stage, echoing these changing times. We take a musical bite out of what is going on with society now and rock the wake-up call!"

With "Crazy for You," Rogues of Chaos delivers a powerful reminder of the transformative power of music. Their high-energy performances and dynamic sound are set to inspire and ignite audiences, making them a force to be reckoned with in the music scene.

BERTO Breaks Down Walls with New Single "paredes"

BERTO, an artist committed to sharing the raw and rarely told stories of personal experiences, unveils his latest single "paredes," a deeply introspective track that marks the third release from his forthcoming album. This song not only serves as a pivotal transition in the album’s narrative but also signifies a shift in tempo, moving from slower BPMs to more upbeat rhythms, embodying the growth and self-realization that comes with healing and accountability.

"paredes" is a profound exploration of BERTO’s journey through the highs of falling in love and the devastating lows of heartbreak. As the final single in his album rollout, this track encapsulates the overarching story of his breakup, weaving a narrative that begins with the initial euphoria of love and concludes with the painful yet transformative process of recovery. Through this song, BERTO delves into the intricate dynamics of his past relationship, reflecting on the beauty and commitment he brings to love, ultimately reaffirming his dedication to self-growth and emotional honesty.

The song’s title, "paredes," is rich with meaning, showcasing BERTO’s lyrical prowess through a clever triple-entendre. The opening line, “las paredes de mi familia,” serves as a multifaceted metaphor referring to his last name (Paredes, which means "walls" in Spanish), his lineage, and the emotional barriers inherited from his family. This poignant introduction sets the stage for a narrative centered on the challenges of communication and the generational trauma that shapes one's ability to express emotions openly and freely.

At its core, "paredes" is a song about personal growth and the importance of taking responsibility for one’s actions. BERTO candidly acknowledges his struggles with communication, admitting the difficulties he faces in conveying his true feelings. The chorus, with its powerful refrain “quiebra, quiebra, cada piedra, pierda,” echoes his commitment to breaking down these walls and taking decisive action in apologizing to his former lover. This heartfelt apology is not just to his ex, but also a pledge to himself to overcome these inherited communication barriers.

BERTO’s journey, as depicted in "paredes," is a testament to his dedication to emotional transparency and self-improvement. The song’s transition from slower to faster BPMs mirrors his own transformation, moving from the introspection and melancholy of heartbreak to the energizing drive of self-discovery and accountability. Through "paredes," BERTO invites listeners to join him on this deeply personal journey, offering a relatable and inspiring narrative of love, loss, and the relentless pursuit of personal growth.

As "paredes" paves the way for the rest of the album, BERTO continues to establish himself as an artist unafraid to confront his vulnerabilities and share his authentic self with the world. This single not only sets the tone for the remaining tracks but also reinforces the overarching theme of the album: a story of love, heartbreak, and the unwavering commitment to personal evolution.
